Release at a glance
- Version: 1.0
- Release date: July 10, 2026
- Patch-note scope: ~27 pages of changes and additions
- Save guidance: Pocketpair recommends starting a fresh save — mechanic changes are deeply embedded enough that a clean world is the intended experience.
The World Tree region
A second major island that roughly doubles the playable map, with new biomes, new Pal spawn locations, and new resource nodes.
New Pals
The biggest single addition of Pals in the game's history.
Genetic Recombination — new breeding system
Fuse genes from Legendary Pals into variant offspring with inherited traits. Outcomes depend on server-side configuration, making the competitive breeding meta server-specific.
For the conceptual primer we published pre-launch, see Genetic Recombination Explained. The verified mechanics will be filled in here once the changelog details the gene-count, inheritance probabilities, and server configuration knobs.
Server Clustering — linked dedicated servers
Multiple dedicated server instances can now be linked into a single logical community, in the ARK mold. Lets large communities run multi-region or PvP/PvE-split setups while keeping one shared player base.
For the conceptual primer we published pre-launch, see Server Clustering Explained. Verified configuration arrives here once published.
Progression overhauls
Both early-game and late-game progression have been reworked.

What this changes on the site
We're refreshing in this order once the patch lands and the community data sources update:
src/data/pals.tsrefresh — pulls in all new Pals and stat updates from the paldex source. Automatically refreshes the Paldeck, Tier List, Best-For pages, Best-Element pages, and every per-pal detail page in one pass.- Breeding pair lookup refresh — new Pals = new pairs. The Breeding Pathfinder and Breeding Simulator inherit the new data automatically.
- Trait Inheritance + Passive Skills audit — verify against Genetic Recombination. Update Trait Inheritance and Passive Skills if mechanics changed.
- Server Clustering full guide — replace the preview at Server Clustering Explained with verified setup steps.
- Map / resource updates — once World Tree markers get datamined, push to the Resource Map.
- Progression guide refresh — audit Early Game and Endgame Checklist against the reworked flow.
src/data/items.tsrefresh — pulls in any new items / weapons / schematics added in 1.0.
