v0.7.3 — Construction Polish
Released April 2026. No new Pals, no new region, no sweeping mechanic overhauls. This patch fixes two long-standing construction bugs that have annoyed serious base-builders since launch.
What's new
- Blueprints stored in chests are now usable for crafting. Previously, blueprints had to be in your personal inventory to count. This is the QoL change of the patch — finally you can stockpile blueprints in a workshop chest.
- Floating-roof bug fixed. Non-foundation supports (pillars, beams) used to leave roofs hovering in mid-air when the support was removed. Roofs now correctly fall or refuse placement.
- General construction polish: snap-tolerance improvements, fewer phantom collisions, smoother foundation grid alignment.
Meta shift
Workshop bases are practical now
If you've been running a multi-base setup (main base + cake farm + defense base), the blueprint storage fix lets you keep schematics on the base where they're used. No more inventory-management theater every time you fast-travel.
Vertical builds become reliable
The floating-roof bug made multi-story bases a gamble — a single misplaced pillar could leave your second story floating ominously. Vertical layouts are now actually usable, opening up build patterns the Building Guides didn't recommend before.
No combat impact
Nothing here touches damage numbers, Pal stats, raid mechanics, or capture rates. The Tier List doesn't shift. Combat-only players can skip this entry.
Recommended adaptation
- Move your blueprint stash to a chest at whichever base you craft from. Free up inventory weight.
- Audit any half-built vertical bases — the patch may auto-correct floating structures, sometimes by dropping them.
- Don't rush to update mods. Construction-related mods may need rebuilds against the new snap logic.
