Logging & Plantation Hybrid Base
Wood is the most-consumed resource in Palworld. Berries are the most-consumed food. Almost every base needs both. This layout combines them with overlapping Pal skills so a single crew handles both jobs at full efficiency.
Why combine them?
Lumbering and planting/gathering share many specialist Pals. Putting them on the same base means fewer total Pals to maintain, fewer feed boxes to refill, and fewer SAN cycles to manage. The downside is space — this is a wide base.

Layout
- Berry plot south, tree stands north. Two distinct work zones, one Pal crew that walks between them.
- Logging Camp + Wood Chest in the middle, equidistant from both zones.
- Cooking pot near the berry plot. Mossanda hands berries directly to Wixen.
- No mining or kindling at this base. Resist the temptation — it overloads the crew.
Throughput
A 6-Pal hybrid base produces, roughly:
- 400 wood/hour during the day
- 80 red berries/hour continuously
That's enough to feed a 10-Pal main base and stockpile wood for late-game projects (Heavy Furnaces, large foundations, structure repairs after raids).
Connect it to your other bases
- Wood chest → fast-travel transfer to your main base every game-day morning.
- Berries → feed-box top-off via Pal courier or manual transfer.
- Excess wood → bulk-sell to merchants for early-game gold income.
If you've built the Defense Base, this is the second base you want — it feeds the Pals there and supplies the wood you'll lose to raid damage.
