v0.7.0 — Home Sweet Home

Released December 17, 2025. Pocketpair's holiday update brings the ULTRAKILL collab and rebuilds the base-customization system from the ground up.

What's new

  • ULTRAKILL collab — V1-themed cosmetic items, weapon skins, and themed enemies in certain dungeons.
  • Base customization expansion — new wall textures, roof styles, decorative blocks, and lighting options. Color palettes are now editable per-foundation.
  • Pal interaction with decorative items — Pals will lounge on furniture, use chairs at tables, and animate at certain decorations.
  • Quality-of-life: faster Palbox transfer, improved feed-box logic, and decoration grid-snapping.

Meta shift

Aesthetic bases without losing efficiency

Pre-patch, decorative blocks broke pathing. The new grid-snap and pathing-aware decoration system mean you can build pretty bases that still work. This won't change your raid team comp, but it changes how the Building Guides read — design and function aren't a trade-off anymore.

ULTRAKILL drops are cosmetic-only

This is important: the V1 weapon skins don't confer stat changes. They're skin-only over existing schematics. If you see streamers using "V1 Shotgun," it's the same Pump-Action Shotgun underneath. Don't grind dungeons hoping for power gains.

Faster Palbox transfer = breeding loop accelerated

The reduced transfer animation shaves a few seconds per Pal transfer. Doesn't matter for casual play, but matters a lot if you run the Breeding Pathfinder regularly — chain breeding is now noticeably faster.

  1. Revisit your main base layout — the new pathing-aware decorations let you do walkways, gardens, and proper sleeping quarters without breaking your worker AI.
  2. The ULTRAKILL collab content is timed — collect skins now, even if you don't plan to use them.
  3. The breeding QoL change rewards focused chain runs. If you've been putting off a target Pal because of transfer fatigue, the friction is smaller now.
