Bellanoir Libero Raid Strategy
Bellanoir Libero is the entry point to raid content — easier than Bellanoir Libero Ultra but still a real fight if you're underprepared. This guide is the prep checklist and tactical breakdown.
Boss Stats
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| HP (Raid) | 500,000 |
| Element | Dark |
| Weakness | Dragon |
| Time Limit | 10 Minutes |
| Recommended Level | 50 (4★ condensed) |
Unlike the Ultra variant, base Libero does not phase-shift to Ice. She stays Dark for the entire fight. That makes the prep much simpler — you bring Dragon Pals and never have to swap.
The Fight
Libero's signature moves are her wide-area dark beams (pierce through everything, including walls) and her summoned dark orbs that home in on the closest target. Both are dodgeable on foot but punish Pal positioning.
Movement is the survival mechanic
If your Pals clump up, one beam wipes the entire team. Position them at angles to her — the Palworld Pal AI doesn't dodge well, so your only lever is initial placement.
Player damage matters more than you'd think
Your Pals provide consistent DPS, but a Legendary Rocket Launcher or a Plasteel melee variant from v0.7.2 lets you contribute 20-30% of the damage. At the DPS threshold for the 10-minute timer, that 20-30% is the difference between a kill and a wipe.
Recommended Roster
| Role | Pal | Why? |
|---|---|---|
| Main DPS | Jetragon | Highest Dragon DPS. Speed helps dodge beams. |
| Secondary DPS | Hartalis | Dragon type with strong ranged + 135 HP for survivability. |
| Tank | Frostallion_Noct | 140 HP, 135 defense. Soaks the orbs while your DPS works. |
| Player support | Gobfin (x4) | Stack 4 Gobfins with Vanguard and Stronghold Strategist passives — boosts your player damage by ~60%. |
The Gobfin stack is the meta — don't skip it. See the Tier List for alternatives if you're missing any of these.
Base Setup
- Dedicated raid base. Do not fight her at your main base — she will destroy work objects within range. The beach south of Mount Obsidian is the classic raid arena.
- Stone foundation, no walls. Walls don't help (her beams pierce) and they break your Pal AI's line of sight.
- Summoning altar near the edge of the arena. Gives you room to back up when she spawns aggressively.
- Feed box stocked with Eikthyrdeer Loco Moco — +20% attack buff before summoning. Cheap, easy, mandatory.
Player Gear
| Slot | Best for this fight | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Armor | Pal Metal Armor | Highest raw defense at level 50. |
| Helm | Multiclimate Undershirt | Drops from this very raid — go bare-headed the first run. |
| Weapon (primary) | Legendary Rocket Launcher | High burst, fits the 10-min DPS threshold. |
| Weapon (secondary) | Legendary Assault Rifle | Sustained damage between launcher reloads. |
Loot Table
| Item | Chance | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Multiclimate Undershirt | 100% | First-time clear guarantee. Wear it for Bellanoir Libero Ultra. |
| Witch's Crown | ~30% | Cosmetic with decent stats. |
| Ancient Civ Parts | 1-2 | Needed for Legendary Sphere crafting. |
| Huge Dark Egg | ~10% | Hatches a Bellanoir. |
Common mistakes
- Bringing Fire types because "she's dark." Fire is not Dark's weakness — Dragon is. Use the Type Chart.
- Skipping the Gobfin stack. It looks silly. It's correct.
- Fighting at your main base. You will rebuild your entire base. Do not skip the dedicated raid arena.
After your first clear, level up to Lv 55 and condense your roster before attempting Bellanoir Libero Ultra — same Pal, different beast.
