Best Electric Pals in Palworld
ElectricElectric pals shred Water teams, but are grounded by Ground. 18 Electric-type pals in the current dataset, ranked by base attack (with HP and defense as tiebreakers).
Type matchups: Electric is super-effective (×1.5) against Water. It is resisted (×0.67) by Ground. See the full Type Chart for every interaction.
For why super-effective is ×1.5 (not ×2) and how SEAB stacks on top, see Damage Formula Explained.
Partial 1.0 data. The top 1.0 Pals — Aegidron, Solenne, Renjishi, Dandilord, Silvance, Panthalus, plus Hartalis and Bellanoir Libero — are now in the dataset via manual extraction. The long tail (~50 more 1.0 Pals) is pending because mlg404 hasn't shipped a 1.0 release; paldb.cc migration is queued. Type effectiveness is the first multiplier on damage. The next is passive skills. The Combat Trifecta — Legend (+20% Attack/+20% Defense/+15% Move Speed), Ferocious (+20% Attack), Swift (+30% Move Speed), and Lucky (+15% Attack) — is the default combat build for any of the pals above. If you only fight one element of boss, the matching Electric Emperor passive adds another +20% to Electric damage on top.
How to read S/A/B/C for Electric
S-tier is the highest raw attack ceiling — but raw attack isn't the whole fight. A well-built A-tier Electric pal with stacked passives (Legend +20%, Ferocious +20%, Musclehead +30%) can out-DPS a bare S-tier by 40-60%. Use S-tier as the ceiling, not a mandatory pick.
B-tier picks are viable for specific niches — early-game filler, budget builds, or pals that double as strong base workers. C-tier is situational: usually only worth it when you already own one and want to skip a breeding chain.
To model actual damage numbers against a specific boss with realistic passive percentages, use the Damage Calculator — it has Pal presets for the top combat picks and a passive checkbox group.
Building a Electric team
A full 5-pal Electric combat team typically wants:
- 1 main DPS carry — an S-tier pick with the full Combat Trifecta stack (or Legend + Demon God + Ferocious if you have a Legendary)
- 1 flying mount for repositioning during boss AoE phases — doesn't have to be Electric type
- 1-2 tanky supporters — high-HP Electric pals from A/B tier that absorb hits while your carry burns
- 1 utility slot — element counter to whatever the boss reflects, or a support pal for status effects
